I was shown a real neat exec to show the shutter actuations for the Canon 40D (40D only - does NOT work with any other model and ONLY works within the EOS Utility program)

http://astrojargon.net/files/misc/40dshuttercount.zip

1) Download the file
2) In Windows Explorer, unzip the file
3) Copy the .exe file into the folder where the Canon EOS Utility is installed (typically, C:\Program Files\Canon\EOS Utility)
4) Run (double-click) the .exe
5) Follow the instructions. When you press the "Get Count" button, the shutter count *should* appear next to the button.

-- I have no affiliation with this program --

mine shows 24902 and 12163 respectively

probably only useful if buying a 2nd hand camera or checking if/when the shutter fails.

Jestem w pracy więc nie sprawdzę czy działa, gość który to postował jest dość poważny więc żart to nie jest. Może ktoś spróbuje ?
